Early in the re-conceiving of the series from “Guardians of Zero Nexus” to “the Radicals”, I was originally going to have Future Jayce be an older figure who served more of a mentor role to Hailey, almost a Doctor Who/companion dynamic. In traveling back he had displaced his younger self, making the whole “future wife” thing very awkward. Missed opportunities for drama? Possibly. But I still enjoy the whole “second chance at youth” aspect of the current iteration. So here’s Jayce in various levels of old-ness.
