Dark Sasha is apparently just a desaturated Karen. Actually, with the exception of the hairstyle, Sasha’s design was originally supposed to be Karen (or her twin sister Kate, I don’t remember which) way back in 5th grade, when Karen was quite a different character. Originally one twin (again I don’t remember if it was Kate or Karen) was the leader of the the team (at this time called “B-tech”), only to die in an early issue and be replaced by the other twin, seeking REVENGE! Hey, 5th grade plotline, folks. Gimme a break.
Gee, how come Hailey’s powers don’t work on Hailey? Weird. That seems like it could almost be important.
