"Why?" You might ask. I'm not really behind. I already have next issue's cover done, but opted not to post it yet. Three reasons:
1. Primarily to increase dramatic tension. This is my first cliffhanger and only for a while to come.
2. I just started a new full-time job. And while it appears to be easier to work my update schedule around (I can even draw AT WORK again) I do need a chance to get acclimated to it.
3. To give me a little time to work on backgrounds for the next issue and a cover for the Pin-up calendar.
4. Keeping up that month of 5-day-a-week updates was pretty draining (although, more manageable than I expected). So, I'm taking a week of light duty... NOT a week off.
So, next Monday I plan on posting both the new cover and the first page of Issue 4 unless, my new job proves to be much more exhausting than I expect. That also mean that this week you get either a double- or triple-dose of "In the Wake of the Dragons". I haven't decided if I'm stretching the 5-day updates to the end of this week or not yet.
