As you can probably tell, I spent a lot of this issue in particular experimenting with different lighting and effects.
I had a lot of fun doing this page. I was divided at first if I wanted to do CGI for the ship or draw it by hand. Looking how it turned out, I’m glad I went ahead and drew it by hand. When I was a kid I started out drawing with spaceships and Transformers and other mecha.
Nothing to break up the monotony of writing and drawing a 22-page story like an unnecessary panty shot.
Had a bit of trouble with the perspectives and positioning in this one. First name drop of the meme the whole bloody universe is named after. More on that MUCH later…
